All kind of facial scrub is better to use two times a week. Usually it has tiny stones or product used to exfoliate your skin so it is better not to use it daily to prevent it from damaging your skin.

It is a facial scrub product used to exfoliate and remove the dead cells in your face. You may see that they are claiming that it is a daily facial exfoliator and as what I experienced and told above, it will not damage your skin but still, better just use it two times a week to prevent any problem.

As I have said, I have a sensitive skin. Every time I try skin care products hoping it to help and skin and prevent having pimples, it works reverse. But when I tried The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub, I never had a dry face, or made my pimples to come out.

Yes it is. It may seem a little bit expensive for a facial scrub but do not worry for it will last longer than we expected. And it works perfectly to my skin. It removes the dry cells in my face and leave it smooth and clean. And of course, even I have a sensitive skin, it never made my pimples to come out after using it.

Common Reasons for Delayed Flights

 Travelling around the world is such an exciting experience. But still, it has pros and cons. And sometimes, not everything that we planned before our trip really happens.

While travelling, we have different choices on how do we want to get to a specific destination. There are choices such as: By air, by land and by sea. By air, we can go by airplanes. By land, we can go by trains and by buses. Lastly, by sea, we can go by boat or ships. 

Any of the choices above does not guarantee you that it will be the fastest way. It all depends on availability of the place you are coming from and going to. Take not that there are places that only allows airplanes or sometimes ships and buses. So it is better to plan it as early as possible so you can make the analization.

Have you ever got your flight delayed or worst, canceled? I know it really pissed us off specially if it will affect our plans. But you need to chill! Because it will not give any help. I met a lot of travellers who got pissed off and started shouting at poor airline or airport stuff. So with this blog, let me  enlighten a little bit your mind  with the common reasons for delayed flights.

Traffic 

Yes, you read that right.  Even in the sky, traffic happens. Specially if there are amount of planes departing and taking off. Sometimes, it takes 1 hour, or more than, for a plane to depart.

Weather

As we all know, the airplane that we are flying with comes from different places. Weather in our place is not the same as the weather in the place where the airplane comes from.

For example, the plane that we are waiting is from Alaska and that plane cannot fly due to bad weather in that place, so it will affect the airplane´s next flight. 

The same thing if there is a bad weather in our location, it will definitely affect our flight.

Crews

Crews are indeed important in any flight. But because of the reasons above: Traffic and weather, those indeed affect the crews. They will have to finish their responsibility from the previous flight they had because they will be able to go to the next one. 

Those are common reasons for delayed flights. So next time that you will travel, remind yourself of those reasons before you get mad to any crew / land crew. It is indeed important to be nice and relax in any situation. Remind yourself that all theses crews are just doing their job and making sure that you will be safe during the flights. Any persons from airline or airport dont deserve to be disrespected by any customers.

First Time Experience with Etihad Airways

 

Etihad Airways is one of the leading airlines in the world. They are line of the airlines from United Arab Emirates. Etihad Airways commenced their operation in 2003 and finally able to fly in Barcelona starting 2018. 

Last December 2018, we planned to spend our yearly vacation in the Philippines. So from Barcelona Spain, we booked a flight going to the Philippines through Etihad Airways. They are the only airline who was offering a promo for the dates that we needed.

Service

Just like any other airlines, they are there to help you throughout the whole flight for all your needs. Being in Hospitality Industry, we expect them to be nice and bringing smile most of the time. But is just a sad thing that I did not see any smile from them during our flight. The first and last smile was when we were leaving the plane.

As part of hospitality industry, smile is one of the most important thing to offer. It makes the clients feel warmed and at home so it is really a big thing for me for I travel with them almost a whole day.

Equipments

During our flights, especially for those long flights, we are always looking for something that will intertain us. But one of the first thing I noticed when I sat, is the monitor. That type of monitor is what I had during my first flight with Singapore Airline way back 2009. That is more or less, 10 years ago.  I just hope, they upgrade their facilities as they go wider the globe.

Another thing I noticed was the space on our sits. It is indeed smaller than Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airways that will make you feel uncomfortable during the whole flight. You won't be able to stretch your legs and feet.

I was really dissapointed because our seat was really uncomfortable. I travelled with my mother and my brother, but my brother´s seat was away from us. And during our last flight, we seated on the last seats in the plane. But maybe, the problem was with the agency where we booked our flights. So it is really important to book your flight with a good reference travel agencies.
                        Overhead Bin

During our flight from Barcelona to Abu Dhabi, we did not have any problem. But from Abu Dhabi to Philippines, we had.Due to old aircraft that they have, we had to put our luggages in check in. Bad thing because of issues in Philippine Airport. The fact that we prepared those luggages as our hand carry but they had to get it due to small airplane. I hope they upgrade their planes to be able to access the needs and wants of new generation.

Entertainment

Etihad Airways offers you a variety of movies and series to watch from different countries specially in Asia. They also offer games for us to get entertained. 

In front of our seats are magazines to read and the menu that they offer during the flight. As well as the safety guide during emergency situation that we should always check out to remind ourselves. 

Foods

Etihad Airways offers variety of food, from meat to chicken. But of course, Etihad Airways is an airline from United Arab Emirates, so they have a middle eastern type of food to offer and if you are fan of it, good for you. But if not, sorry. And it is a bad thing for me because I did not like it that much. I am not really familiar with curry. Food is really depends on your appetite and preferability. 

If you finished to read this whole article, I know that you noticed that I did not like anything from this airline. I know I paid for a promo ticket but still, I paid a quiet amount of money, and I did not receive the service and comfort that I was expecting and needing. For now, I am sure I will not fly with this airline anymore unless they change their service and facility.

My Skin Care Routine

 

I was too young when I started to love makeups. I still do remember buying a cheap lip gloss in the shop in front of our school. And how many times I asked my big sister to buy my first eye shadow pallet.

I was in fourth grade when we found a cosmetic shop, HBC to be exact, that sells makeups for younger age. I had my first eyeshadow pallet that had three colors in it: blue, pink and violet. I felt so professional every time I use it. 

Time flies so fast, and little did I know, I was slowly destroying my face. It was only 2017 when I decided to invest in skin care products. I was so surprised knowing the price for each product but I am still thankful that I learned how important they are. 

Many will ask why beauty gurus have that perfect skin, and yes, that is because they invest in their skin care. It is important to remove all kind of products in our face, keep it hydrated and bacteria free. So now, I will show you the product I use for my skin care routine. 

My Skin Care Routine

SparkElle Pretty in Pink Soap
I love washing my face with this soap. It leaves my face so soft and it promises an acne free face that I dreamt of. I use this three times a day: during morning when I wake up, when I take a bath and lastly before I sleep. 

You can read in My Everyday Makeup Routine that I do not usually put heavy make ups. So by this soap, it really cleanses my face without worrying that some make up products or dirt are still on my face.

Facial scrub are indeed important but take note that you cannot use it everyday. I usually use The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub only two times a week. Specially when I feel bumps on my face. But thankfully, thanks to SparkElle Pretty in Pink Soap, it lessen the possibility to have bumps but I still use The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub two times a week to keep my face smooth and soft.

It is a good facial scrub because it does not dry out my face and it keeps my face soft.

Even we use products that make our skin so soft and smooth, it is a must to use a moisturising cream to keep and face hydrated. And The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day Cream is perfect for that. I use this product every time I finish washing my face to keep it smooth. 

You can read that it is a day cream but do not worry, you can use it as well during night to keep your face moisturised and hydrated and it will save you a lot of money.

Vaseline Lip Therapy
I love using  Vaseline Lip Therapy after washing my face so whenever a lip product left on my lips, Vaseline Lip Therapy is able to remove it for me and leave my lips so smooth again. No more dry and cracked lips!

It is a relief to remove and feel fresh again after a long day with makeup. Let us not forget how important our face is and how important we take care of it.

Travelling around will give you variety of choices on what to do and where to go. And aside from visiting the most historical places or the natural resources, you can also visit some theme parks.

Available Activities in Boracay After its Rehabilitation

 

The Island of Boracay is indeed a living paradise that you should not missed. And good to say, that the Government of The Philippines did their very best to preserve and mantain its beauty. 

But after the 6 months rehabilitation of Boracay, a lot of things have changed. Most of the water activities are located in Station 3 and not all the previous water activities are available in Boracay. Here are the water activities that are available in the Island of Boracay after its rehabilitation: 
Island Hopping


1. Island Hopping

         Walking around the shore, you will meet people who will ask you to join Island Hopping. It will be consisted of Island Hopping (Two Islands), Snorkeling and a lunch buffet. They are going to offer with different prices and based on our experience, the lowest price was 600 php.

2. Snorkeling
          Regarding with this activity, you can usually get this with island hopping.

3. Scuba Diving

4. Paraw Sailing

5. Standup Paddling

6. Parasailing

7. Fly Fish

8. Jet-ski

Parasailing, Fly Fish and Jet-Ski are availble in Station 3. While in station 2, you are only allowed for Standup Paddling. Lastly, in Station 1, Paraw Sailing and Standup Paddling are availble. 

Boracay now seems more relaxing than before. No words can express its beauty. I just hope that all the tourists will be more responsible and help one another so that we can experience the Boracay in many more years in the future.

Magical Field of Lights in Nuvali

 

One of the biggest event in the Philippines is Christmas. You're gonna see a lot of Christmas lights and parols on your town. But there is a Festival of Lights that will give you more of Christmas and childhood vibes because of its lights and music.

Location

This event is located in The Fields, Nuvali, Santa Rosa Laguna. 

So if you are planning to come in Enchanted Kingdom, you can as well pass by in this event. It on takes 25 minutes from Echanted Kingdom to Nuvali. 

Schedule

The Magical Field of Lights opened last November 24, 2018 and will operate until January 13, 2019. 

The show starts at 18:00h to 22:00h, every 30 minutes.

What to Expect

It is a Disney themed and you are going to see a larger-than-life Mickey shaped structure at the center. They have 3,600 square meter field with 5,000 pieces of tulip that change in color and laser light that will truly amazes you. And Christmas lights along the area. 

You might be asking about the 50 meter Christmas tunnel. Sadly, they removed it because people kept on touching it. It is for the security and safety of everyone.

My Everyday Makeup Routine

 

Am I the only one who is lazy to put too much make up everyday specially during work days? And I know I should not. I just feel like putting make up on my everyday routine is slowly destroying my face. I experienced the time when everytime I put my foundation, I start to break out. Due to that, I stopped using foundation.

It is indeed important to protect our skin to sunlight for it can cause wrinkles and burn our skins. So it is recommendable to use a sunscreen to protect our face from sunlight. Nichido Eye Pencil
It has been 3 years since I start to use the Nichido Eye Pencil. I use tha shade dark brown for it looks so natural on me and it is not a redish tone. It is so affordable that looks like you are using a gel product for your brows. Read my own review here.

I love applying my Nichido Eye Pencil with Ecotoold Brow Shaping Eyebrow Brushes Duo. Sadly I lost my spoolie during my vacation in Philippines. It only cost me 4,75€ and the materials are indeed good for our environment. They are easy to use and helps me to define my brows.

Maybelline Fashiop Brow Color Drama Mascara
My brows are always going down so it destroys my eyebrows on fleek.  I tried other eyebrow gel but they are expensive and they all works the same. But Mybelline offered me a good one. It helps me to achieve my eyebrows on fleek. And the color looks so natural on me.

Nichido Eyebrow Shaver
Another key to achieve our eyebrows on fleek is to shave our brows. It will make it look so clean and define. And the way how the blade is formed, it is good for biggeners to try.

Lips

Vaseline Lip Theraphy
I love using Vaseline Lip Theraphy in the shade Rosy Lips for it really moisturizes my lips and it is easy to cary. It also helps me to remove my matte liquid lipstick which usually is hard to remove by any other make up remover. Read my own review here.

Sleek Matte Me
Lastly, the Sleek Matte Me in the shade Bittersweet. I love it for it looks something like better than my lips shade. And it doesnt make my lips too dry and crack. I cannot live without lipstick for it gives life to my face. My review here.

What To Do When You Booked To A Non-Accredited Hotel In Boracay

 

After the 6 months of rehabilitation of Boracay, the Government of The Philippines with The Department of Tourism made a lot of new rules to maintain the beauty of Boracay. They made some requirements for all the hotels and resorts in Boracay that they need to have and to follow to be considered as "Accredited" and be able to work with public.

But last December 2018, I was in Boracay for a short vacation and when we arrived at Jetty Port of Caticlan, where you need to present your hotel voucher as proof that you have booked an accommodation, we found out that our hotel is not accredited by the officials. So now I will tell you what to do if it happens to you:

1. Call the Hotel

When you find out that you hotel is not on the list of accredited hotels on the day of your stay, make sure you call the hotel to also know their part. By this, you can ask them on what you need to do, if they really work or not, if they can refund your money if they already charge you, etc. You need to double check everything.

2. Call the travel app, travel website or travel agency where you booked your hotel

It is really important to call them specially if you are not able to call or communicate with the hotel or resort. By that, they will help you to communicate with them, know your situation, give you suggestions, etc. 

3. Book to another hotel

After calling the travel agency, normally they will tell you to wait for they will contact the hotel and know their side, then they will call you back. This usually takes 1 hour. So I really recommend you to book to another hotel.
If your first hotel is not on the list, there is no way you could enter the island of Boracay. No matter what, you'd be needing to book to another hotel and just wait for the refund that usually takes 14 days depend on your bank.

4. Check the availability of other hotels and resorts

Check right away where you can book a hotel for your whole stay but before reserving, make sure to check if they are in the list of the accredited hotels and resorts so you won't make the same mistake twice. It is really important to book another hotel right away because remember you are there on the same day of your first stay in Boracay and there is possibility that most of the hotels are already full.
Take note that it is better that after verifying the hotel, call them directly and ask for their price for the days of your stay so you can compare it with the price on their website.

For now, you can check the List of Accredited Hotels and Resorts in Boracay.  If you see that your hotel is active on their social media accounts but are not on the list, cancel your reservation right away.
